We devote much time on people who are in material need and live in bad conditions. When we visit these people their faith is raised up and it brings hope to them. Some of the members of the church are handicapped and this requires us to personally minister to them one on one. Periodically the widows are given food and things of first necessity. James 1:27 says," Religion that God our Father excepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world".
Leaders of the ministry:
Pastor Ivan and Antonia Filipovi
Ivan and Tony are a family for 40 years. Their two children are married and serve at their local churches. The Filipov's devote their life to God in 1989. Since 1994 they are members of Messiah Church. In 2000 Ivan together with his wife have been ordained as deacons. The same that year they started leading a church in the village of Sulitsa. In 2004 they started serving to the Senior people and the widows in the church as they visit them in their homes, teach them in the Word of God, pray with and for them as well helping and supplying with food. On 5 February 2006 they were ordained for pastors of that particular ministry. The vision of their life is "Me and my house we shall serve the Lord" Joshua 24:15.
