The interceding prayer is a continuation of Jesus Christ’s ministry through His body - the church, in which we are intercessors between God and the rest of the mankind, with the only aim to bring peace with God to the world or we stand between the Satan and the mankind, aiming to establish the victory of the cross. Christ needs a person here on earth, through whom he could reveal himself as the Father God did. The person who God used was Jesus. The people who Jesus uses today are the people from the church.

There are several different prayer teams in Messiah church. They are gathering weekly and their main purpose is to intercede before God for the various ministries in the church, for reaching out to the unsaved people, for our city and for our nation. These prayer groups are like Joshua and Caleb, holding up the hands of the pastor and the leaders till the victory.

„God is shaping the world by the prayer. The more prayers throughout the world the better the world would be and the greater would be the force opposing the evil. The prayers of God’s holy people are the capital of the heaven, through which God does His great work here on earth. God has made the existence and the success of His cause dependent on the prayer.”
