In the story for the rich young man from Mark 10:17-27, it is said that after he failed on the exam for the eternal priorities in the life, the Lord Jesus Christ says in verse 24: "Dear children, it is very hard to get into the kingdom of God for those who trust in riches.’ And in verse 27: ‘Humanly speaking it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God." Generation of prospering people have grabbed for this opportunity from the Word of God and have made great changes with their own lives.
It is what happened to the director of the tax-collector – Zacchaeus. In Luke 19:1-9, he believed that there is a higher level of life from this only to gain riches. He used this opportunity for helping poor orphans, widows with his money and he spent the rest of his life free from the slavery of the money-madness. Something more - his story motivates a lot of Christian businessmen, making proper impact by changing them.
The ministry „Zacchaeus” for Christians – businessmen, doctors, lawyers, leaders and public figures – associated to Messiah Christian church, is aiming to demonstrate this model of life to the world and to become a gathering center for other people, who are not satisfied with their way of life. Using all possibilities for training, building up relationships, prayer, studying the word of God, descent and moral way of life, the members of this ministry become examples of people, who have overcome their own human weakness, lifting themselves above the things, people, who are living to transform in a good way the society, from which they are part, to change the human destinies in the world, to expect their prize not of gold or silver, but of gratitude personally from our Lord Jesus!

Ivan Dedov is manager of financial – investment structure. He is chosen for businessman of the year of Stara Zagora for the period 1990-2000. On the basis of his managing and leading potential he ran for a mayor of the city in 1999 as well as in 2003. Placing God on the first place, Ivan and his wife Teddie are building up strong and healthy Christian family. They believe that the “triple rope cannot be destroyed”.
