On February 21, 2010 Ivo Shatrovski was guest of Messiah church. He is a missionary and he travels east to India, North and South Korea, Indonesia and other countries. The church loves his stories from missionary trips, because they inflame desire for mission participation in the people.

In a cold weather, when the thermometer showed -15°C, Messiah church, Stara Zagora handed out tea to the passers – by. The weather forecast for freezingly cold weather was the calling in the hearts of a group of volunteers from our church to help the people, who did not have the chance to stay at home in the severe weather conditions.

The Christians from Messiah church celebrated the birth of our Savior. Everyone greeted each other for the feast. Children expected eagerly the beginning of the service, dressed in their costumes for the drams they were about to perform.

On January 24, 2010 Messiah church remembered the Holocaust along with other 412 Bulgarian protestant churches.
Maybe more than ever, the world today has the need to remember of the events that made the Holocaust happen. We should remember and honour the memory of the innocent victims – 6 millions Jews, who was brutally killed from the Nazi during the Second World War.

On 20 December the women from messiah church organized a celebration on the occasion of Christmas. We started I n a traditional manner - with a prayer and singing "Silent night" and after that Ina Uzunova read a poem, accompanied by musical background, which brought us into the atmosphere of the birth of the Savior. Everyone there took pleasure in the atmosphere. Pastor Tanya preached shortly on the word from Luke, chapter 2 – the meeting of Mary with the angel, who brought to her the good news that she is chosen by God to give a birth to the world’s Savior.
