The day of the Christian family is celebrated on 21 November. Messiah church had a special service on this occasion on 18 November - Wednesday. On the first place we had a time for praise and worship and the whole church honoured the Lord together. Then pastors Lyubo and Tanya greeted the families and the whole congregation – the church family. A teaching on the needs in the marriage was shown on the multimedia. Important principles for the relationships in the marriage, which would help every couple to have better marriage, was demonstrated. It is important for a man to investigate the needs of his wife in order to meet them, and for a woman to know the needs of her husband in order to satisfy them. In this way there will be a harmony in the home.

There was a short break for snacks and coffee and the second part of the meeting started with the presentation of the participants in the programme, done by the host Mira Doseva. The little Joanna, who is only 7 years old, cited a wonderful poem about "Mummy and daddy". Everyone applauded her. The little children have always been the favourites of the church. The greetings from the kids continued with a video clip, in which the cute children from Messiah church greeted their parents and everyone in the church hall with warm words. The teenagers also surprised us with a special multimedia presentation with photos of the parent towards whom the greeting is addressed. We saw a short drama, presenting how a family of unbelievers accept Jesus Christ, through the TV show "Words of life". The youths were so good, acting their parts.

Mira invited three couples to compete in a game, called "associations" - one from the team should explain a word to the other, who have to guess it. The people who took part in this game were: Mitko Uzunov and his daughter Petya, Bobbie and Galia Palazovi and pastor Lyubo with his daughter Debbie. Laughter like wave cover the audience. The next game tested the ability of making a tie, followed by short fashion presentation for the origin of man’s tie. Pastor Ivan, Sunny, Mitko and Galia took part in this game. They were really good! There were prizes for their enthusiasm.

It is good to spend more time together in the church to worship Lord and to have fun as well, because we are family!
