The Christians from Messiah church celebrated the birth of our Savior. Everyone greeted each other for the feast. Children expected eagerly the beginning of the service, dressed in their costumes for the drams they were about to perform. The pastor opened the service and the worship team sang our favourite songs – “Silent night”, “The Child was born”, “In Bethleem”, “The bells are jingling” and others. We heard the wonderful solo parts of Vanio, Mira, Bobbie and Milenka. After that the smallest kids from the Sunday school sang “Jingle bells”, cute as always.

Then the bigger children presented a drama about the night of the birth of the Savior. Finally followed the dance of the biggest children with elements from the gymnastics – using reels and flags under the accompaniment of a classical music and cited verses from the bible for the Christ’s birth. People from the church were sunk in this atmosphere and took pleasure in the celebration. The parents of the kids followed every movement or a word of their children, taking pictures of these unforgettable moments in the church, which would remain as memories in the family photo albums. Our service continued with folk praising songs, performed by Stoyko MInev and Antoaneta Todorova. Then pastor Lyubo Petkov shared a unique message for the birth of Christ. Preaching from the word of God is important equally for the believers and for the guests of the service, who entered the church for a first or consecutive time. Jesus expects everyone to open their hearts and to accept the Savior, who was born 2000 years ago.
