On 9-10 September, our church was a host of a seminar with a guest - speaker pastor Stanley Hoffviks from Holland. He is a head pastor of Maranata church , Amsterdam. He is recognized as a bishop of many African churches in Holland. Maranata church has weekly TV programme on the christian TV - TBN. The church has a great ministry among drug addicts and prostitutes in the centre of Amsterdam. Pastor Hoffviks is a dynamic preacher, who is invited on many conferences across the world. We, Messiah church , highly appreciate his ministry and we are always blessed by his preaching.

He preached on two evening services. The first message was " The faith of the centurion" and the other - " My personal Gilgal". We have guests on these services from many churches in the region. Along with pastor Stanley  this year we have as guests pastor Gert Oosterhuis and his son Daniel. Gert preached on the Sunday morning service and Daniel minister to the youngsters in Saturday evening. There they learnt a new song, which they sang on the Sunday morning service.
